Overview

Bring the joy of fresh, homegrown fruit to your garden with these Emerald Blueberry Starter Plugs. Each order provides 5 Emerald Blueberry Starter Plugs, ready to establish and thrive. The Emerald blueberry plant (Vaccinium corymbosum Emerald) is a renowned southern highbush blueberry variety specifically developed by the University of Florida for regions with mild winters. This makes it an ideal choice for gardeners in USDA Hardiness Zones 8 through 10 who seek a reliable and prolific producer of delicious fruit. Known for its low chill hour requirement and excellent heat tolerance, the Emerald cultivar ensures a successful harvest even in warmer climates where other blueberry varieties might struggle. These starter plugs offer a convenient and robust way to begin your blueberry patch, promising abundant yields of large, sweet berries within a few seasons.
