Acer pal. Twomblys Red Sentinel 100-125 cm Deco 15L. bush

Acer palmatum ‘Twombly’s Red Sentinel’ is a narrowly upright, columnar Japanese maple prized for its rich red foliage and elegant, space-saving habit. A deciduous selection, it provides strong seasonal colour and a refined vertical accent for small gardens, entrances and mixed borders. Grow in sun or light shade in fertile, humus-rich, moisture-retentive but well-drained, slightly acidic soil, and shelter from cold, drying winds to help prevent leaf scorch. Slow-growing, it forms a slender, architectural outline that suits courtyards and compact settings.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions
