AMELANCHIER can. Rainbow Pillar std

Amelanchier canadensis ‘Rainbow Pillar’ is a slender, upright selection valued for its tidy, columnar crown and year-round interest. In early spring it bears masses of white blossom, followed by small berry-like fruits, and the fresh foliage opens with a soft bronze tint before turning green; autumn brings vivid red and orange tones. Its narrow habit makes it a superb choice for smaller gardens, avenues, and structural planting. Best grown in sun or light shade, in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil that is neutral to acid. Fully hardy and generally easy to maintain, needing only light formative pruning after flowering if required.
