Overview

Introducing the Burlington Northern highbush blueberry plant, a fantastic addition to any home garden or landscape. This offering includes 3-year-old live plants, typically measuring 18 to 24 inches tall, ready to establish and produce delicious fruit. The Burlington Northern variety is celebrated for its very sweet, light blue berries that are remarkably resistant to cracking. Ripening in July, the harvest from these resilient plants can extend for several weeks, providing a continuous supply of fresh, homegrown blueberries. Beyond their delectable fruit, these bushes transform into a blaze of crimson in the fall, making them an excellent choice for an informal hedge or as an ornamental specimen in your garden. For optimal fruit production and larger berries, it is recommended to plant with at least two other blueberry varieties to ensure adequate cross-pollination, even though they are considered self-fertile.
