Ilex crenata Jenny 40 CM BALL C10

Ilex crenata ‘Jenny’ is a compact, slow-growing Japanese holly with small, glossy green leaves that make an excellent box alternative for neat, formal shapes. Naturally dense and evergreen, it clips cleanly into tight spheres and low hedges, and works well in containers or as a structural accent. Tiny white flowers appear in late spring, though they are modest; the plant is primarily grown for its refined foliage and tidy outline. Grow in sun or light shade, in moist but well-drained, neutral to acidic soil; avoid chalk or lime.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
