Overview

Embark on a rewarding gardening journey with the Kadota fig tree, a remarkable variety of Ficus carica Kadota. This deciduous fruit tree is highly prized for its delectable, greenish-yellow fruit, which boasts a smooth, sweet amber flesh. Originating from Italy, the Kadota fig is a classic choice for both novice and experienced gardeners due to its relatively low maintenance and robust nature. Unlike many other fig varieties, the self-pollinating fig characteristic of the Kadota means you only need one tree to produce an abundant harvest, eliminating the need for a second tree or specific fig wasps for pollination. This makes it an ideal addition to any home orchard or garden space, offering fresh, homegrown figs right from your backyard.
