Molinia caerulea Variegata

Variegated purple moor grass with neat, tuft-forming clumps of yellow-striped green leaves that bring light to borders. In late summer, slender stems carry airy purplish spikelets, adding fine texture and movement. Best in full sun or light shade on moist but well-drained, acid to neutral soil. Deciduous; around 60 cm tall, this refined grass offers reliable structure for naturalistic plantings and mixed borders.
