Phlox ‘Famous White’

Phlox ‘Famous White’ is a compact, clump-forming perennial garden phlox bearing rounded heads of pure white, sweetly scented flowers from mid to late summer. Ideal for the front of mixed borders and cottage-style plantings in Ireland, it thrives in full sun or light shade on fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Deadhead to prolong display and cut stems down in late autumn or early spring; ensure good soil moisture and air circulation to reduce the risk of powdery mildew. Excellent for cutting and valued by pollinators.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
