Anemone ‘Elfin Swan’ Y

Compact and free-flowering, Anemone ‘Elfin Swan’ produces elegant white blooms with a coloured reverse from mid-summer into autumn, above a neat clump of deeply cut, green foliage. Shorter than many Japanese anemones, it suits the front of mixed borders and woodland-edge plantings. Best in sun or light shade in moisture-retentive, well-drained, moderately fertile soil, this hardy perennial is reliable and easy to place in Irish gardens.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
