Buxus semp Ball 60-65cm

Buxus sempervirens, commonly known as common box, is an evergreen shrub with small, glossy green leaves that clips readily into dense, longlived topiary. Shaped here as a neat sphere, it provides yearround structure for entrances, borders and containers. Grow in fertile, welldrained soil; it tolerates sun or shade, and benefits from shelter from cold, drying winds. Small, inconspicuous greenishyellow flowers may appear in spring, but it is chiefly valued for its compact, formal foliage and ease of clipping.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
